Hand cranking 60 watts
Hand cranking 60 watts of power is not as easy as it sounds, pedaling better obviously.
Using the 24v Chinese (Navitron) pm alternator (now for sale), I attached a handle to the blade rotor.
15 volts DC was easy with a 100 rpm hand crank.
I hooked up a 12v 60 watt bulb load and the mechanical resistance was considerable, even with such a large alternator (30Kg, 66lb).

Just makes you appreciate the power in the wind..
