It's the Jonta model, the best one with a 1 watt luxeon LED.
They are superb, I use mine all the time in the winter months. (no affiliation).

Price originally £39.99 Now £5.99 plus £4 shipping, UK only I think, Paypal accepted.

Re: Absolute Bargain - Freeplay torch

You must have bought at just the right time Humbertini,
The following day, all 49 were gone - out of stock.

I do notice a problem with mine not holding a charge as expected :?
And not for the first time, other Freeplay products that don't have a solar panel charge facility have always had battery issues in my experience, maybe this had something to do with the demise of Freeplay, the recession could have been something to do with it also.

I have seen the likes of Duracell have newer technology NImH batteries that hold a charge for years, much like alkalines, and still rechargable obviously.
Older ones can self discharge at an alarming rate, 30% a month has been reported.

I may insert 3 of the newer technology batteries to see if that cures the problem.
A great torch (flashlight) otherwise.
Ben.
