My latest wind turbine setup
I never tire of watching my latest micro turbine spinning, as I watch it from my upstairs office window.
Maybe it is something to do with it being free power, 20-30 watts generally.
Of course it should be sited far higher, not allowed unfortunately.
In reality it will never pay for itself in it's garden location compared to grid prices.
I simply enjoy watching it spin :ugeek:
In the video below, the 1 meter diameter blades are spinning at around 350 rpm, that's cut-in charging speed.
